The Lead Developer Scholarship Scheme

The Lead Developer Scholarship Scheme

We know that not everyone who would like to attend The Lead Developer will be able to make it. That’s why this year we are offering a limited number of tickets as part of our scholarship scheme open for all to apply to. Successful applicants will receive access to all content across both days, food, drink and all the extras. In some cases, we are able to provide travel and accommodation.

As an added bonus, we are borrowing this brilliant idea from RubyConf (thanks RubyConf!) and pairing any scholars who want one with a guide. A guide is an experienced member of the community and will be a friendly face at the conference, there to help make sure you get the best out of your conference experience and to introduce you to other people at the event.

The scheme aims to support underrepresented groups in tech to have access to brilliant content and networking opportunities. If you’re an aspirant tech lead or a current tech lead without access to the funds to buy your ticket, you should apply. We will award tickets to people who can show that the knowledge gained will be useful for their ongoing career.

All applications will be assessed by the organising team and successful applicants will be notified by email within three weeks of the application closing date on 1st April. Free tickets can only be given in a limited number and the organisers’ decision is final and cannot be appealed.

Update: Our scholarship scheme is now closed.
